Hi there! I’m Jackie and you’ve landed on my travel blog, The Globetrotting Teacher. Thanks for taking the time to learn about me and my blog.
I am an English teacher living in New York City with my husband and dogs. I have a passion for all things travel! At 19, I traveled for six months to all 48 continental states, sending postcards to family members who tried endlessly to pinpoint my exact location. Ever since, I have been seeking out new adventures and places to explore.
My goal with this blog is to inspire you to get out there and experience more of the globe. I can teach you how to do this for way less money than you thought possible. You can learn how to earn and burn miles and points, as well as other budget travel tips, to lower the cost and even pay for the trips you want to take.
I earn miles and points everyday without stepping foot onto an airplane or into a hotel. I have traveled to Europe, Latin America, Canada and (soon!) Asia all for very little money.
You can absolutely travel to all the places you want to go no matter what your budget allows.
I have a busy life just like you, job, husband, family, dogs, etc. But if you are like me, you are always aspiring to explore new places and seeking out new adventures. I will share with you how to research and organize your travels so you stay motivated to make that trip happen. You can absolutely travel to all the places you want to go even with a busy schedule.
